Manage catchment programs and complex, high level projects.
Selection Criteria:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of natural resource management issues, relevant legislation, regulations and policies and the Government NRM reform agenda.
  • Highly developed leadership skills and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate community needs and government directions into NRM plans and programs and to develop, implement and evaluate projects.
  • Superior written and oral communication including negotiation, facilitation and presentation skills. Proven capacity to establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and regulations governing the public sector in contract, financial and human resource administration and demonstrated ability to manage a budget.
  • Demonstrated capacity to plan and manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a politically sensitive environment.
  • Excellent research, conceptual, strategic analysis and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to lead change and to achieve change outcomes.
  • Current drivers licence.

Salary

Clerk Grade 12, Wagga Wagga, Permanent Full-Time. Total remuneration package valued to:
$121,562 p.a. (Salary $105,512-$110,160).
