An exciting opportunity exists for position as Environmental Scientist with Dalcon Environmental, a well respected environmental consultancy that specialises in scientific surveys and environmental impact assessment (EIA) of aquatic flora and fauna and terrestrial invertebrate fauna.
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist with experience in taxonomy and ecology of terrestrial invertebrates. Expressions of interest are sought from science graduates with PhD, MSc, BSc (or equivalent), who have a genuine interest in developing their career within the environmental consulting sector and playing a major role in the growth of a small company.
The position involves working with an enthusiastic team of scientists and technicians committed to best practise and continual improvement in research standards and business services. The position will report to the Principal Scientist/Director and the responsibilities involved are flexible with the option to work either full-time or part-time.
Previous experience in the environmental consulting industry, or an industry-focused research institution, is essential.

12 month renewable contract
