The Otway Community Conservation Network (OCCN) is a network made up of members from community organisations, management bodies and government agencies that aims to protect and enhance ecological values in the Otway Plain and Ranges coastal regions. Volunteer with Conservation Volunteers to help the OCCN reduce the spread of the invasive weed species Boneseed throughout the Great Otway National Park. This project will play such an important role in conserving the range of eco systems that make up the Great Otway National Park.
This project will run Monday to Friday from Monday 9th April to Friday 4th May, 2012 (project will not operate on public holidays)
this project is FREE- come for one day a week or all five- you decide.
Please ensure to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work.
