IWC Master's Scholarships (international) - partial - tuition scholarships NOW OPEN

Partial-tuition scholarships – NOW OPEN

We believe that skilled water leaders are critical to addressing complex water challenges across the world. As such, the IWC will grant an IWC Master’s Scholarship (partial tuition scholarship) to all international applicants who apply, are accepted into, and enrol in the Master of Integrated Water Management program as self-funded, full-time students.

The total value for this scholarship is A$9,500, which covers:

  • A$7000 towards the cost of tuition for the Master of Integrated Water Management program
  • return air travel up to the value of A$2500 to Australia for all full-time Master program applicants.

To receive a partial scholarship:

  • applicants must apply for admission into Griffith University
  • receive an offer of admission into the MIWM program
  • accept their offer of admission into Griffith University and pay the tuition fee deposit
  • formally enrol in the four courses for trimester 1, 2019
  • once enrolled, the partial scholarship will be paid directly to Griffith towards the trimester 1 tuition fees

IWC Master's Scholarships (international) - Type A / OPEN 1 May 2019

Full-tuition and full-living costs scholarships – NOW CLOSED

There are up to two full tuition and full living costs scholarships available annually, targeted at international candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements, hold citizenship and currently live in one of the priority countries. These countries include the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. One of these scholarships will be reserved and awarded to a female candidate.

Value for this scholarship is AU$92,645, which covers:

  • Full tuition fees for full-time study of Master of Integrated Water Management
  • Living expenses remuneration
  • Return air travel to Australia
  • University student amenities fee
  • Cost of Student Visa for a single student
  • Cost of Overseas Student Health Cover for a single student

IWC Master's Scholarships (international) - Type B / OPEN 1 May 2019

Full-tuition scholarships – NOW CLOSED

One full tuition Type B scholarship is available annually, targeted at international candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements, hold citizenship and currently live in North America, Europe or Asia.

Value for this scholarship is AU$56,739, which covers:

  • Full tuition fees for full-time study of Master of Integrated Water Management
  • Return air travel to Australia

Endeavor Scholarship - Australian Government funded scholarship

The Endeavor Scholarship is awarded to Postgraduate applicants from select countries to promote knowledge, education links and enduring ties between Australia, its neighbours and global partners.

Value of this scholarship includes:

  • Travel allowance of $3,000
  • Establishment allowance of $2,000 (fellowships) or $4,000 (scholarships)
  • Monthly stipend of $3,000
  • Health insurance for the full category duration (OSHC for international recipients)
  • Travel insurance

Australia Awards Scholarship - Australian Government funded scholarship

The Australia Awards Scholarship offers the next generation of global leaders an opportunity to study, research and develop professionally at Australian Universities. In return, Australia Awards scholars are expected to return to their home country and contribute to their regions development.

Value of this scholarship includes:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Return flights
  • Establishment allowance
  • Contribution to Living Expenses
  • Introductory Academic Program (IAP)
  • Student Health Cover (OSHC)
  • Visa expenses
  • Pre-course English (PCE) fees and Supplementary Academic Support (Tutorial Assistance), if needed
