Traineeship
- TAFE NSW also offers the Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management as a traineeship. To be eligible to enrol in the course as a trainee you must:

Entry recommendations
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
- An intermediate level of fitness to manage physical tasks like preparing the soil, using machinery, kneeling and planting trees and shrubs
- A Class C Drivers Licence
- Sun protection for working outdoors including a sun-safe hat, full length trousers and long sleeved tops
- Closed toe non-slip shoes, gardening gloves and work gloves
- A willingness to work in varied weather conditions
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection
- Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level
- TAFE NSW may ask you to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills test. This helps us to understand your individual study needs, to design an individualised plan that supports your study success and ensures your LLN skills match the demands of the course.
