International Water Centre

The International WaterCentre (IWC) provides the most advanced education, training and applied research to develop capacity and promote whole-of-water-cycle approaches to integrated water management around the world.


As joint venture of The University of Queensland and Griffith University supported by a global network of 170 international collaborators worldwide, the IWC provides a breadth of expertise rarely found in a single organisation. IWC has conducted projects worldwide in areas such as water, sanitation and hygiene; healthy river basins and sustainable urban communities. IWC also delivers a range of education and training programs in water leadership and integrated water management.
