Autonomous Project Manager job in contaminated land management and remediation projects where you have an input into building the team and the business.
The company is a Risk Management Consultancy, an international provider of specialist Occupational Health and Safety, HAZMAT and Environmental Management services. They deliver creative and pragmatic solutions for their clients in the Government, Building, Manufacturing, Defence, Infrastructure and Construction sectors.
Based in Western Sydney and reporting to the Principal Consultant you will be a key member of the Environment team.
Work with Clients Subject Matter Experts and Peers to develop remediation and implement solutions. Your areas of interest include data evaluation, innovative sampling and analysis methods, allowing you to work on a range of projects of varying complexity.
Keep close to your clients, build relationships, keep them informed and be a trusted advisor. Lead the liaison and communication with project related stakeholders such as the EPA, Councils, and your management (safety, cost, quality, time).
Work with the consultancy’s leadership and the Business Development Manager to identify and win new work from existing and new clients, helping to respond to tenders and EOIs.
Experienced leading multidisciplinary assessment and remediation teams, you can provide hard edged evidence of success in the delivery of Contaminated Land Projects, specialising in contaminated site assessment and remediation of soil and groundwater, Environmental Investigation and Auditing Services. You possess relevant post graduate qualifications. You possess depth of knowledge regarding a wide range of contaminants including heavy metals and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
