RMCG is a thriving environmental and agricultural consultancy providing services on a range of business, environmental, agricultural and social issues. We are a dynamic team with versatile skills in the areas of integrated water management, natural resource management, economics, social research, strategic planning, agribusiness and community engagement.

We are looking for a high-achieving, self-starting economist, with a background in water, environmental and/or agricultural economics.

We will employ someone who has:

  • Expertise in the application of economic frameworks to policy problems and investment decisions, in relevant fields.
  • Demonstrated abilities in economic and financial modelling.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person.
  • Established networks in the agriculture, water and/or environmental sector.

If you are that person, you will work in small teams with other RMCG consultants delivering analysis and advice on a broad range of policy, program, and investment decision-making issues to government departments, water businesses, councils, industry groups, farming groups and the private sector.

A degree in economics or a related field and at least three years of professional experience is required.
