Environment Project Officer (Waste and Sustainability)

  • Permanent Full-time position
  • Band 5 – commencing salary $31.09 per hour
  • Based in Camperdown

Corangamite Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated person for the full time position of Environment Project Officer (Waste and Sustainability). 

This exciting role involves the delivery of a wider range of environmental and sustainability projects, management of Councils kerbside collection contract, the design and implementation of community education programs and includes the implementation of a variety of Council strategies and management plans.

Applicants that are up for this challenging and rewarding role must have well-developed oral and written communication skills, contract management experience, demonstrated IT and administrative skills, an ability to work with community/interest groups and have a post-secondary qualification in environment studies and/or relevant experience in the environment, waste or sustainability field.

You will also need a current Victorian Drivers Licence and current Working with Children and National Police Checks or be willing to obtain.
