EDP is seeking talented and ambitious Graduates to join our growing Sydney operations.

EDP is a health, safety, property compliance and environmental consultancy founded over 25 years ago with offices in Australia, UK, Ireland and Singapore.  EDP’s Sydney operation has experienced significant growth and we now have opportunities for Graduates to join our motivated and dynamic team to develop a career as a Health, Safety and Environment Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of EDP who have recently been awarded the Client Choices Award for Best Environmental Firm (<$30 revenue) in 2020.

We require self-motivated, high calibre Graduates with an Environment, Science or Engineering degree to work in a team of consultants to provide quality consultancy to a large array of clients in a diverse range of projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be provided with on the job training in the following areas of work:

  • Asbestos and other hazardous materials monitoring;
  • Clearance inspections and reports;
  • Asbestos and other hazardous materials surveys and registers;
  • Sampling and analysis;
  • Project and client management; and
  • Preparing accurate high-quality reports.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential Requirements

Qualifications / Training

  • Degree in Environment, Science or Engineering

Skills / Knowledge

  • MS office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Report Writing
  • Organisation skills

Personal Qualities

  • Self-motivated
  • Team Player

Salary and Benefits

The role is Sydney based with the chance to travel nationally to service projects.

On occasion, our work involves travelling and working at weekends and other unsocial hours as required from time to time.

A full driving license is essential.  As such, full flexibility in working and travel will be required from the successful applicants to enable us to service our clients.

Must have full working rights in Australia, permanent residency or full Australian citizenship.
