The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is seeking an Operations Manager to join the team in Denham, Western Australia. Under the minimal direction of the District Manager, the Operations Manager will:
- Lead and implement operational joint management works programs for the Gascoyne District, ensuring activities align with departmental and service objectives.
- Lead and manage staff, ensuring effective communication and integration across district, regional staff, and specialist branches for the delivery of services.
- Oversee the management of ranger teams, with a focus on promoting and encouraging Aboriginal workforce involvement and increasing Aboriginal participation.
The Midwest Region extends along the coast from Lancelin in the south to north of Carnarvon and inland past Meekatharra, with regional headquarters in Geraldton and district offices in Geraldton, Jurien Bay, and Denham.
The successful applicant must possess or be able to obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
