Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our ambitious and diverse Contaminated Land Management team in Sydney. As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from proposal through to delivery, managing budgets, timelines, client relationships, and technical outputs. You’ll mentor and guide junior consultants while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities 

• Manage and deliver contaminated land and environmental projects, ensuring outcomes are on time, within budget, and to scope.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong and trusted relationships.
• Lead and mentor consultants and graduates, providing technical guidance and feedback.
• Prepare project budgets, schedules, and work plans, and monitor financial performance.
• Review and approve technical reports to ensure accuracy and professional standards.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, safety standards, and company policies.

Who you are

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in contaminated land management or environmental consulting.
• Proven project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable to the diverse nature of consulting.
• Full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence.
