The Opportunity

Agsafe is seeking a Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs Coordinator to provide enterprise-wide regulatory leadership and stewardship expertise across the organisation and to Agsafe clients. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this senior role is central to ensuring regulatory requirements are interpreted clearly and translated into practical, commercially relevant guidance and solutions.

Acting as a trusted advisor across the business, the Coordinator will work collaboratively with internal teams, regulators, industry stakeholders and clients to support compliance, standards development, operational decision-making and industry best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing organisation-wide regulatory and stewardship advice and support.
• Interpreting legislation and translating complex regulatory frameworks into practical guidance.
• Developing briefing papers, standards, training materials and plain-language communications.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with regulators, clients and industry stakeholders.
• Supporting industry reference groups, technical forums and advocacy initiatives.
• Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of Agsafe Industry Standards and stewardship programs.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation, simplification and continuous improvement across Agsafe services and client offerings.

About You

• An experienced regulatory, stewardship or advisory professional with strong analytical capability.
• A confident communicator who can translate legislation into practical and commercially relevant advice.
• Skilled at building trusted relationships across government, industry and internal stakeholder groups.
• Solution-oriented, collaborative and comfortable influencing outcomes across a broad stakeholder environment.
• Experienced in developing standards, frameworks, technical materials or training resources.
• Qualified in a relevant Bachelor’s degree, with Certificate IV qualifications desirable.
• Experienced working within regulatory frameworks, compliance environments or industry standards systems.
