About the Role
The Team Leader Horticulture Central is a new role responsible for leading and developing the Central Team to deliver a high level of horticultural landscape outcomes expected in a botanic garden. You will be responsible for a range of operational activities and tasks including; general horticultural maintenance, curation of living plant collections, turf management, landscape projects, plant records, plant health, biosecurity, irrigation, and storage and use of hazardous substances to contribute to the achievement of branch objectives. This role has a strong team and OHS focus, and you will work directly with Team Leaders North and South in Melbourne Gardens and report to the Manager Horticulture.
Key Selection Criteria
- Associate Diploma or equivalent horticultural / landscape qualification
- Agricultural Chemical Users Permit
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
