Team leader, Hydstra consulting and support
The Hydstra consulting and support team leader will lead a client focused team that provides business focused Hydstra consulting services in hydrology and environmental data management, level one support activities and core product development. This position is based in our Canberra office.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a dynamic team leader who has a strong customer outcome focus and the aptitude to become a lead Hydstra consultant. You will have the ability to effectively communicate with clients across different levels from technical implementers to management. As the team leader you will bring project management capability to ensure client delivery through input from your team and the broader company.
The successful applicant may come from a range of backgrounds including IT development, environmental data management, engineering, hydrology, environmental engineering, environmental science or related fields. A degree or higher qualification in a related field will be highly regarded.

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency;
- a client and outcomes focus;
- demonstrated team leadership experience;
- great spoken and written communication skills;
- solid experience in scripting or code development and a willingness to take on Perl and Python scripting;
- experiences in delivering and managing projects;
- the ability become a Hydstra expert and conduct product consulting and training; and
- a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
