About the Role
The purpose of the Waterfront Supervisor role is to drive performance of Planned Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) across Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) periods and Service Visits (SV) periods, while maintaining vessel within Class Condition. The role is performed in accordance with Local and State Legislation and Austal policies and procedures.

- Nine-day fortnight with an RDO every second Friday

Responsibilities:
- Work List Preparation, Planning and Execution
- Quality control of work scope
- Safely deliver work scope
- Ensure compliance
- Support the safe, on time & on budget delivery of Contracted Work Scope
- Support business managers with resource and contractor management
- Planning of project and maintenance activities
- Schedule adherence and reporting
- Financial monitoring and reporting
- Expectation communication to all concerned parties
- Inspection and approval of works as necessary
- Apply quality procedures and practices (ISO standard/specification of the program/project)
- Adhere to environmental and safety requirements
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance or Trade qualification/experience
- Construction safety induction (white card)
- Project Supervision experience within marine or maintenance industry
- Strong working knowledge of safety management practices (confined spaces, heights, energised systems, risk assessments, etc.)
- Project planning, service time management & de-confliction
- Dispute resolution and negotiations
- Proven ability to lead and foster a team environment
