Career Relaunch Opportunities - Western Australia
Are you looking to return to work after a career break?
Rise and shine again with GHD’s Career Relaunch Program in 2019
We understand that returning to work after an extended career break can be challenging. That's why we developed a career relaunch program to encourage and welcome professionals back into the workforce in a supportive environment. Our program is currently in its third year following successful programs in 2017 and 2018.
See what some of our alumni have to say about this exciting program
Emma Harrison | Senior Environmental Geologist | Sydney, NSW
"As a mother of four, I felt resigned to the fact that after 10 years out of the scientific industry the only way back in was through full time study. Then I found GHD's Career Relaunch Program, which offered me a genuine opportunity to redevelop my career while still being able to support my four boys as a single parent."
Deoneia Pires da Silva | Civil Engineer | Karratha, WA
"Coming off a two year career break, I was excited by the prospect of being able to return to the career I love as a civil engineer. I was struggling to find any flexible roles until I came across GHD's Career Relaunch Program. The program gave me the opportunity to refresh my brain and resume my career, all while being there for my two children."
Tamsin Gavranic | Spatial Analyst | Brisbane, QLD
"Everyone in the team has been extremely friendly and supportive. Anyone who has taken an extended career break knows how difficult it is to get back into the workforce, so having the opportunity to get back into the workforce through GHD's Career Relaunch Program, and be paid to do it, is pretty special."
To support your return to work, you will be partnered with a mentor and work closely with a designated team. You will attend training designed to update your industry knowledge, build your confidence and ease your transition back into the workplace.
We are currently looking for professionals with experience in:
- Engineering (across multiple disciplines)
- Environmental and Earth Sciences
